2. Our Manufacturing Process from Steel Selection to Surface Finishing

The process must start with careful material selection to create high-quality nuts. Depending on the mechanical quality required for each application, we have obtained carbon steel grades such as 1018, 1045 and other suitable alloys. According to the different size and performance grade of the nut, after verification, the steel is cold forged or hot forged. Forging produces a stronger nut by compacting the material and aligning the grain structure so that it can withstand more torque and load.


After forging, the blank is processed in the precision machining stage, the hexagonal geometry is formed, and the surface is ready to be threaded. The deviation of a nut even up to millimeters will endanger the integrity of the entire assembly, so dimensional accuracy is essential in this case. The next step is thread tapping, using high-precision instruments to ensure that each valley and peak of the thread are uniform and sharp, and can smoothly contact the bolt in the case of severe tightening.


The core of mechanical properties is heat treatment. According to the customer 's requirements, we have modified the hardness, tensile strength and elasticity to meet industry standards, such as Level 8, Level 10 or Levels 2 to 8, using strict and standardized quenching and tempering procedures. Once the nut has the necessary mechanical surface, the surface treatment is carried out. Hot dip galvanized support outdoor steel structure; phosphating film enhances the installation lubrication and thread life; oxidized black maintains strict size specifications for the machine; and in the typical industrial operation, zinc plating can prevent corrosion. Each treatment is selected according to the expected use environment of the nut. Before packaging, our last inspection verified the correctness of the sealing tolerance, hardness grade, surface condition and thread.
