Investment casting is a mature precision casting process which is well known for its better accuracy than sand casting. The forklift parts that manufactured by investment casting are more precision. The main materials for forklift investment castings are cast steel. Besides cast iron parts, investment casting could also be selected for cast steel parts in small & medium dimensions. CNC Machining could be effectively avoided or reduced with investment casting method. It will help to save much machining cost and production time for forklift parts.

Investment casting is a custom process for metal parts, and allows for very complex shapes. So almost all the forklift metal parts could be produced by investment casting. Forging will charge customers very high tooling cost and have a minimal quantity around 1000pcs to start with. While Investment casting could start from very small quantity, and do not charge too much on tooling, which is quite cost-effective for small production run.
